Founder and Principle Designer at SNPC DESIGN
SNPC DESIGN is a woman owned, small business, located in Houston, TX.
I hold active licenses in both architecture and interior design in Texas, a combination that's rarer than most people realize. It means I don't just understand how a space looks. I understand how it's built, why it performs the way it does, and what it costs to get it right.
That dual perspective is the foundation of everything I create, whether I'm working with a homeowner who wants to make smarter design decisions, or a CTE educator who needs curriculum that actually reflects how the profession works.

Where the expertise comes from
I earned my Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba in 2013, after completing my B.S. in Architecture at Texas Tech University in 2010. Since then, I've spent over 15 years working across both commercial and residential architecture and interior design — managing projects from small-scale renovations to programs with budgets exceeding $475 million.
I've held roles in project management, project architecture, and project interior design. I've sat in the client chair, I’ve attended the contractor meetings and the construction administration walk-throughs. I’ve completed the code review and submitted projects for permit. I know this industry from the inside.
That experience doesn't stay in the office. It shows up in everything I put out — every design guide, every curriculum resource, every product recommendation — because real expertise has a different texture than surface-level advice.
For the design enthusiast
You're a professional, a homeowner, or just someone who takes your space seriously. You want more than Pinterest inspiration. You want to understand why something works — the proportion, the light, the flow — and how to make confident decisions without guessing.
That's what I build for you. Design resources and guides created from real professional practice, translated into language that's clear and actionable. No condescension. No oversimplification. Just expertise, made accessible.
For the CTE educator
You're teaching the next generation of architects and designers. You need curriculum that reflects the real profession (not a watered-down version of it). That means technical accuracy, industry-standard vocabulary, and resources built by someone who has actually done the work.
SNPC Design EDU exists because I believe CTE students deserve classroom materials built from professional experience. Every resource I create for educators is grounded in the same standards I've applied on licensed projects. I know what students need to understand before they step into a studio or a firm and I build curriculum that gets them there.
A few things worth knowing
SNPC Design is a woman-owned small business, and I've donated over 24 hours of professional services to global non-profits. I've lived in three countries, which has shaped how I think about design — as something universal in its function and endlessly specific in its context.
My credentials carry letters after my name because the licensing process demanded it: RA, AIA, RID, NCARB, NCIDQ, IIDA. Each one represents a standard I chose to meet. I share that not to impress, but because when you're using my resources to make real decisions — in your classroom or your home — you deserve to know the expertise behind them is documented and verified.

Whether you're here for design resources, educator curriculum, or just getting to know the brand — welcome! Everything here is built with the same standard I'd apply to any licensed project: professional, purposeful, and built to last.

What My Clients Are Saying About My Work…
“I’ve worked with interior designers before, but Samantha’s background as a licensed architect changes the conversation entirely. She didn’t just tell me what looked good, she explained the structural and spatial reasoning behind every decision. I finally understand why my home was the designed the way it is.”
“The design resources from SNPC Design are unlike anything else I’ve found. They’re written by someone who clearly has professional-level knowledge, but explained in a way that actually makes sense if you’re not an industry insider. I’ve made better, more confident decisions because of them.”
“What sets SNPC Design EDU apart is the professional accuracy. I’ve used curriculum materials that were technically off in ways my students would eventually unlearn in the field. Samantha’s resources reflect how the industry actually works and my students have fun while learning!”
“I needed resources that could hold up to scrutiny from students who ask hard questions. These do. Knowing they were created by someone who is dual-licensed and has managed real projects gives me confidence when I’m teaching concepts I want students to take seriously.”
Good design thinking doesn't stop becuase of distance. SNPC Design reaches educators and design enthusiasts across the country. From CTE classrooms using curriculum that reflects real industry standards, to homeowners and design-curious professionals making smarter, more informed decisions about their spaces. Whether you're teaching the next generation of architects and designers or transforming a room you've been putting off for years, you're in the right place.
